The results are in! KLAS Research did the legwork for healthcare executives looking for truly innovative technology to reduce the cost and time required to fill clinical shifts. Whenever KLAS identifies a new healthcare IT solution making an impact in the lives of healthcare executives, they publish Emerging Technology Spotlight reports. Their 2024 Emerging Company Spotlight report on Trusted Health Works surveyed current Works customers to shed light on the customer experience. The goal of the report is to gather insights to help provider leaders learn about new solutions, evaluate emerging technology, and make more informed buying decisions.

Why KLAS Chose to Evaluate Works Workforce Management Platform

KLAS Research flagged Works as an emerging solution due to the prevalence of clinician burnout and Works potential to “reduce clinician fatigue and attrition.” They saw Works' customizable and easy-to-use mobile app and dynamic pricing technology as an innovative new solution to quickly fill open shifts and lower the cost to fill shifts.

Nearly all respondents are either satisfied or highly satisfied with the Trusted Health Works solution…Overall, respondents report that Trusted Health Works has significantly reduced the cost and time required to fill clinical shifts.

Key Highlights from the Report

  • The top reasons customers select Works are “partnership in solution customization,” “technology-driven solution,” and “accessibility and ease of use”
  • Works earned “A” ratings on “supports integration goals” and “likely to recommend”
  • 100% of surveyed customers said they would buy Works again
  • Overall Works customers reported the solution’s greatest strengths being related to the reliable, nimble, and responsive support they receive from the Works team.

Works as Described by Surveyed Customers

All surveyed Works customers reported that Works helped them achieve the following outcomes within 12 months, with 50% of customers seeing the outcomes immediately.

The Outcomes:

  • Provide clinicians with a simple, accessible platform to fill shifts
  • Fill shifts in less time
  • Reduce costs through dynamic pricing

One Director provided this detailed description of Works in their survey response that highlights how Works transformed the way managers fill vacancies and price shifts:

Trusted Health Works allows a mobile option for the clinical bedside staff members to pick up shifts to fill vacancies in a very efficient manner for the user and for the hospital financially. Staff members can pick up shifts and fill vacancies without messaging the managers, so that is really efficient. The higher priority shifts would possibly get more pay, and lower priority shifts would get less of a pay bump. The tool allows us to be fiscally responsible to our shifts because without the solution, we would probably blanket a pay increase for whoever picked up a shift. But this allows us to target more difficult shifts.
